It is also important that gardens are left in good condition with grass recently cut. If the tenant is responsible for maintaining the garden then suitable tools should be provided. For larger properties, with more extensive gardens, it is preferable to include a gardening service in the rental.
The garage, if any, should be swept and left empty other than for items for the tenant’s use, i.e. gardening equipment.
